A poem: For the woman who...

Come and take a seat at the table, there is a place just for you.

For the woman…

For the woman who has a mama,
And the one praying for a mama-figure.
I see you.

For the woman praying for her children,
And the one praying to have children.
I see you.

For the woman missing her kids,
And the one missing some personal space (hello, toddler years).
I see you.

For the woman aching from loneliness,
And the one grateful for her community.
I see you.

For the woman hoping for her healing,
And the one hoping for healing of loved ones.
I see you.

For the woman grieving,
And for the one praising.
I see you.

For the woman who works tirelessly, but wonders – is it enough?
I see you.

For every woman longing to be known and loved…
The Lord sees you.

He knows the joys and sorrows you carry. He knows the hopes you’ve clung to and the ones you’ve lost.  There is no shame about where you are in this moment. The Lord longs to go through it with you, alongside you, guiding and encouraging you. Why? Because he loves you.

Can you take a moment to exhale and let him hold you? You don’t have to do anything. Just be. Rest a little deeper. Close your eyes for a moment and notice how your body and mind feel, imagining yourself held in his arms.

Heavenly Father, bless my sweet friend today as she rests more securely in your love for her. You care deeply about what keeps her up at night, what she longs for, and what she needs. Give her rest from her weariness and strength from your grace. Thank you for meeting her precisely where she’s at today. Show her how tender and safe you are with her heart. Thank you for never giving up or walking away, you are a faithful Father.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

I am for you. God is for you!
Sarah
